When Mckenzie first woke up on Friday morning we let her open one birthday present right away, and I was really excited for this one since it was the quilt that I had made for her. It was the first quilt that I had ever made as I was really excited how it turned out. I think she will really enjoy it. It was a lot of work but she was definately worth it. And I really enjoyed it I think I will definately be making another quilt again soon.

Very cute! Homemade quilts make the best baby blankets. We only have one, and it was a Project Linus that Jacob got when he was hospitalized from dehydration with rotavirus when I was pregnant with Aaron. Jacob never cared for it, so I used it with Aaron and he sleeps with it every night!
